Waited for tide to drop as expected walks of shame getting used to new foil. Could not get going, then saw John pick up quite a speed before flying and think I just did not have enough power. Wind increased and more power got me up, so now can start foil control. Need to be more stable but at least know problem was needing power. - I think.
